The Evening

Arrive at the academy, check in with the coaching team, and settle in — costumes welcome.

Games & activities
Mat games and group activities with the coaches — plenty of movement to start the night.

Pizza
A pizza break with friends. Let us know about any food allergies when you reserve and we will plan for them.
- Wind-down
Movie time
The lights go low and a movie closes out the evening.

Pick up by 9:00 PM — kids fed, tired, and entertained; parents rested.
Simple Pricing
One flat price per child for the whole evening — games, pizza, and the movie included. Nothing to prepay: reserve your spot and pay at drop-off.

Parents' Night Out FAQ
A supervised evening at the academy for kids ages 4–12: games and activities, pizza, and a movie — while parents take the night off. Our Halloween edition is Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at WDC BJJ, 720 Erie Ave, Takoma Park.
$29 per child for the full evening — siblings are full price. There is no prepay: reserve by phone or email and pay at drop-off with cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
No — Parents' Night Out is open to members and their friends. Non-members are welcome; just reserve a spot so we can plan for your child.

Costumes are encouraged for the Halloween fun, but never required — comfortable clothes they can move and play in are just fine either way.
