Ataíde Rafael

Ataíde Rafael is a GFTeam black belt under Júlio César Pereira — and he is Deivid's professor, the man who tied Deivid's black belt.

His own record speaks: IBJJF World No-Gi Champion, Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Champion, Brazilian Nationals Champion, and a multiple-time IBJJF Open Champion in both gi and no-gi. He is a member of the GFTeam Hall of Fame.

In October 2026 he carried the family game onto one of the sport's biggest stages, competing at UFC BJJ 12. Win or lose, that is what this lineage does: it steps onto the biggest mats in the world and proves the work.
