What it's good for
Camp, covered in part
Put it toward a week or a day of BJJ Summer Day Camp for a child ages 4–12 — or the aftercare add-ons. A summer they'll actually remember.
One-on-one coaching
Private lessons with a WDC coach — the fastest way to sharpen a game, fix a problem area, or get comfortable before group classes.
At the academy
Gis, rash guards, and apparel at the academy — plus other purchases at the gym, at 720 Erie Ave in Takoma Park.
Buying for someone brand new?
Their first step costs nothing: every new student starts with a free trial class — a real class with the real group. The gift card is for when they are ready to go further: camp for their child, private lessons, or their own gear. Enrollment itself happens in person at the gym, after we have met them — the card is a gift toward their purchases, never an online signup.
The gift that gets used
For the kid who has everything
Skip another toy. A gift card toward summer camp or their own gear is the birthday present that turns into a summer of training, friends, and confidence.
For the hard to shop for
Parents, grandparents, training partners — a $100 card by email lands instantly and fits anyone on the mats, or anyone who should be.
"I've always wanted to try it"
Everyone knows one: the friend or family member who keeps saying they want to try jiu-jitsu. Their trial class is free — this card removes the next excuse.
Your first class is free.
No experience needed, and no contracts or long-term commitment — just come train. Enrollment includes a free uniform for kids, youth, and adults.
1. Send the free-trial request or call us.
2. We confirm the right class for your age and schedule.
3. Arrive 15 minutes early in athletic clothes.
4. Train in a real group class — then decide with zero pressure.
