Advanced BJJ & Competition Team
High-level jiu-jitsu led by champions: live rounds, strategy, and competition prep for grapplers who are serious about testing themselves. New to the area? Your first class is free.
A room that pushes you
Fundamentals get you started; the advanced room sharpens you. These sessions assume you know the language of jiu-jitsu and want harder problems: deeper technique, live rounds, and the strategy that decides matches — taught by coaches who have stood on podiums themselves.
Deeper technique
Systems, sequences, and details beyond the fundamentals — the game at the level where small adjustments win exchanges.
Live rounds
Supervised live training with experienced partners who make you solve real problems at real speed.
Strategy & game-planning
Competition prep built around your game: what to hunt for, what to avoid, and how to impose your plan.
A team that competes
Train alongside students who test themselves at IBJJF Opens and local events — and a kids competition team growing up in the same culture (Fridays, 5:00 PM).

Everything you're wondering
Advanced sessions are for experienced grapplers. If you're newer, start in our beginner and mixed sessions — coaches will tell you honestly when you're ready for the advanced room.
Never. The competition team is one path inside the academy. Plenty of experienced students train advanced sessions purely for the level of the room.
Yes — experienced grapplers visiting or transferring in are welcome. Call ahead, arrive early to check in and sign the waiver, and talk with Professor Deivid about the right session.
Mixed sessions Monday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM, advanced sessions Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM (Thursday 7:00 PM is No-Gi Drills), morning Gi at 7:00 AM Tuesday–Thursday, Adults Gi Friday at 6:00 PM, and open mat Saturday at 10:00 AM.
Programs vary by how often you train, and we don't publish prices online. Come try a free class, and we'll walk you through the option that fits — with no contracts or long-term commitment.
